AC Repair FAQs

Generally, if you have to get your AC repaired, it can take anywhere from 4-8, depending on what is involved in the process.  If we have to install a new unit, the time could take up to 8 hours which involves the process of removing the old unit and being able to turn on the new one.

This all depends on the severity and extensive damage or possibility or recurrence of future repairs. Small and simple repairs are nothing to worry about. However, if you’re having frequent trouble with your AC, it may be time to think about replacements or upgrades. We can help diagnose and give you the rundown of your unit’s health. We also can offer upgrades such as programmable thermostats and new AC units for installation.

Most modern AC units will last anywhere between 15-20 years, while older models may only last from 10-12 years. For your specific equipment, there are many variables that affect life expectancy, and of course, the regularity of routine maintenance.
